This post is a tribute to the late Sir. David Amess: British political leader (politician).

Highly regarded for his integrity and fairness in politics; though I did not know him or of him until now, I choose to honor him and his family with this tribute post today.

He was fatally wounded by knife attack (citation: ‘BBC’), after having put his own safety at risk – to speak with one of his constituents in a church.

This murder is yet another terrible assault against free governance. And against the goodwill of people who are not obligated to put themselves in such harm’s way.

I pay particular close attention to this tragedy, because many of my political beliefs are exactly as his were – as was mentioned to the public (including me).

I pray for the repose of his soul; and for the peace of mind that his family deserves.
