Focusing on the presidential debates: we are aware of having won all 3. That’s 3 victories and 0 losses.
An interesting question was asked in debate numbers two and three, of our Republican candidate:
“Would you accept the results of the election?”
Excuse me, but that’s a dumb question. First of all, there’s no reason to contest the true vote. The true vote can be examined and then accepted. Secondly, asking the question of our highly respected candidate, twice, begs the question: “Are you trying to inoculate yourself (liberal left) from backlash against vote fraud?”
It’s one thing to talk and lecture about democracy, but if democracy is functioning, an honest candidate need not defend such a preposterous insinuation. The election just needs to be conducted properly, period, and no candidate needs to be asked such questions.
I found something else bothersome. Audience members were told that they could not hoot and holler. Not even in a town-hall debate. Excuse me, but is that not authoritarian? The audience is comprised of the American people. The American people does not simply consist of those of us watching on TV. And if anyone was counting: I was. Who exceeded the time on the clock over and over again? Not our candidate.
Voters, it’s now or never. Get yourselves to the polls, be heard, and let’s do this. Mr. Trump has been fighting in the trenches valiantly on our behalf. He knows we’ve got his back, and he needs us now in these few weeks running up to election day; and even in the days until January 21.
It’s now or never. I won’t be running for office no matter what benefits come with the job, so I can’t save your butt. And, if you want democracy to survive, then get out the vote this November, this year! Walk or drive your aged, drive your teens, get everyone to the ballot box. Help others with their vote by mail. There are no excuses!
And also (very important), be very patient on November 9th. Let all the results come in, and don’t believe any media reports, until the losing candidate’s campaign concedes. After such a grueling campaign, our dedicated campaign deserves that. Consider this election, the most important ever. All parties agree that it is, and let’s see if we can save our democracy.
May God continue to bless you Mr. Trump. We can be proud to have you in the highest elected office, having won without whatever advantages and propogandas the incumbent party relied upon.
