Donald Trump is probably thinking about who he would have as his running mate. With a little bit of suspense and mystery about that at the moment, I don’t think that he’ll make a poor decision at the end of the day, or now. With worthy candidates as VP, who might be in his consideration already, I can think of those who stood by him early on… to let go of their own ambitions and to suspend their race pretty early on, relative to others. For those individuals who moved forward to endorse him in alignment with their recognition and respect for popular constituency support, that was prudent of them, as they heeded the polling statistics which limited their own ambitions for honest route to presidency. Of course, the decision for running mate is Mr. Trump’s, as it should be, and the choice may be someone other than from among his former competitors within the party who have stood up to endorse him. In recent months, potentials have demonstrated a willingness to play second fiddle, and that is encouraging and unifying. I wish him and his running mate well, and confide in his choice. And, I applaud those who are well suited to be his mate in office.
