Quoting the Pope: “Erotic dimension of love, is a gift from God.” I have never been more impressed with my papal father as today. He truly is evidence of a man who neither seeks to deprive his flock of God’s natural gift, nor posture to be himself divorced of his own humanity. The devil would have us believe that sexuality includes, justifies, and tolerates hedonistic sexual passions, barbarism, grotesque behaviors, and violence. Contrarily, Pope Francis reminds Christians today, that sex is a benefit of procreation, fidelity in marriage, and as he simply says in this sentence: “a gift”. Precisely it is that. Human sexuality is one of the most perplexing elements of humanity and an enduring mystery of our creation. It is no wonder that it is one of the most studied elements of life.
