Dear readers, some of you have gotten to know me pretty well from my writings. Some of you who don’t know me all that well may ask yourselves: “Does this guy think it’s even possible for married couples to get along if they’re of different political persuasions?”

My answer to them is this: (It’s a two-part answer, with question back to them.) If you like to argue or enjoy trying to dominate your partner, wouldn’t you find disagreement attractive? The second part to my answer is this: Is your house your government? Or, is it your home?
