message to Syrian president
In my message to Syrian president: We in the public have received international reports today, suggesting that you have authorized the “torture and killing” of your “prison inmates”, “in your military prison”. These are serious crimes sir. Please, do not carry out such methods of coercion against your war criminals and traitors of your government. If rebels choose to die on the battlefield, that is one thing. But, murdering prisoners of war is not acceptable, even though other rulers of nations have done the same elsewhere. It is alleged that you have been doing this “since the onset of this civil war in your country”, as a means of exterminating criminals. We cannot endorse those kinds of activities. I do not plan on commenting frequently about issues in your country, but you must give the United States reasons, to wish to assist your country. I hope that you do not give further reasons for foreign powerful states, to abandon you, or to work against you.
