The Gospel cites instance where our almighty God brings, brought, and will bring, death to whom He choose. He can cause ISIS to be killed off. He can stop the persecution of the good and of the innocent. He can destroy false religious teachings that inspire hatred, torture and killing.
But, we should be careful not to tempt Him to do as we wish for, in destroying the life of others – to whom He also gave life.
It is true, there are righteous and unrighteous people. And those who are evil will pay. We need not fear our enemies, nearly as much as the judgment that can come upon us if we take too much into our own hands.
We also know, that through defense of the innocent and of the weak, there is reward. These are among reasons to spread the good news! The good news, is the reason we live. Mortality is the bridge, to everything we can dare hope for once we have crossed.
