In his page “my books” (at his site), you can read his testimony about how books of his were “taken off the market”. I share this with you as a fellow author, because, his description about what he calls “book vanishing” has happened to other authors in one way or another.

Schemes such as those are plenty and it has lasting negative effects on our “free market”, including producers and consumers alike. Think twice before re-selling products and don’t pay more for something, than you believe it to be valued at.
