Hi my friends, While it has been very often publicly discussed that expectations of ourselves are both unrealistic and devoid of benefit, does this mean that we should never invent, should not take up healthy habits, should not endeavor to do anything that we know to be righteous, should we not celebrate good choices and be proud of a job well done?

Of course, God loves us even as we are imperfect. Some of the most comforting words that he wrote to us can be found in Galatians 3:6-14.

Nonetheless, personal improvement is meaningful. Christ is pleased to watch us try. He’s pleased when we take the time to learn about Him and what makes Him happy.

Please celebrate this Christmas in a way that makes Christ Jesus happy. If you don’t know what makes Him happy, speak to Him in prayer and ask Him to show you.
