I would like to wish everyone in Europe a safe and an exciting New Year celebration. I send a special message of support to the Germans and their Chancellor Mrs. Angela Merkel, who has expressed in the media, her great expectations for the challenges that await her country in 2018. We here in the USA have many continuing challenges as well. As Germany, and many countries continue to face the real threats of terrorism, we all suffer when gestures of kindness are met with violence in return. So, my own wish this New Year (like hers), is for safe celebration in the spirit of freedom and love.
