Dear readers, again, I thank you for your continued interest in my blog posts!<\/p>\n
This morning, I’d like to share with you one of my letters. It is from an organization which I consider to be an ally of the American people. Let me preface what the letter had to say, with this:<\/p>\n
President Donald Trump likes to refer to cleaning out corruption as “draining the swamp”. It’s a very ilustrative way of saying, that he is a defender of freedoms and of government accountability. I like that. We should really appreciate this.<\/p>\n
Anyone who might be considered the “swamp thing”, is surely going to protest him, and what we stand for – government transparency and the rule of just laws. As Thomas Jefferson once said, “If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed.” And some legal groups in America, defend us each day, to keep us informed and to fight on our behalf in courts. They defend us personally there.<\/p>\n
This blog post today, shares some of the accomplishments that our newly elected government (in all 3 branches) have thus far achieved. Though still much needs doing, we are vastly improved within record time. There’s a way to still go. Too many people are overly complacent. Too many people are uninformed. Too many people are disaffected.<\/p>\n
I would like to quote what has been accomplished. Facing some of the greatest threats, now we need to build on that work and improve, improve, improve! Here’s what was accomplished by an ally of the American people:<\/p>\n
[Investigated and sued San Francisco, one of America’s most notorious sanctuary cities, for possible legal violations that led to the release of a violent felon previously deported five times, who then gunned down Kate Steinle at a popular tourist spot.]<\/p>\n
[Uncovered the Obama administration’s official policy to suspend the deportation of some aliens, including those convicted of crimes.]<\/p>\n
[Revealed an ISIS camp operating just a few miles from El Paso, Texas and alerted the public that “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling were moving ISIS terrorists accross the U.S. border and into New Mexico.]<\/p>\n
[Blew the whistle on the U.S. Department of Agriculture, when under President Obama, it worked with the Mexican government to encourage illegal immigrants to apply for U.S. food stamps paid for by your tax dollars.]<\/p>\n
[Unmasked the Obama plan to grant amnesty to as many as four million illegal aliens. Helped the court stall this.]<\/p>\n
[Damning evidence… paper trails of corruption… government cover-ups… and hidden documents that expose malfeasance have all been exposed to the light of day.]<\/p>\n
This prominent group, all of its members, and all of its supporters, all those who underwrite its activities, are heroic in their work to protect us, in small and larger ways.<\/p>\n
That said, I also would like to point specifically to quotation number 3. I’ve mentioned it to you before, but I mention at this time again: Back in 2005, I recognized this threat to our national security. Mindful of this, in the context of creative narrative (a story), and utilizing my college degree studies, I wrote the screenplay “A Dying Affair”. Not the kind of “affair” that has to do with sexual deviance, by the way. Depsite much self promotion of this script, to major motion picture studios in past years, my script has not seen production. I don’t give up hope however. Friends, our service men and women, are asked to give their life for the safety of our nation. How far from noble it would be, for us to permit terrorists into our country as they do? How much would they forgive us for erroding what they are charged to preserve? Would you if you were them? While our service members fight terrorists everyone in the world, we in our homeland, are tasked with keeping ourselves safe while our troops are also. Please read this script. Please get active.<\/p>\n
At this time, I am resuming the promotion of my script. As a writer, it is my duty to get Americans thinking about what we face. To get people talking about what we’ve done wrong, and what we can do better… my goal as yours probably, is to raise families in freedom and prosperity, in our homeland.<\/p>\n
