US Presidential Inauguration; one long week away from today
Friends, prudently, The White House – still led by President Trump and Vice President Pence, have announced (according to US mainstream medias) that “security will be beefed up for the January 20th inauguration.” This should come as no surprise to Americans. And, maybe it seems obvious to you; but, we should be grateful for the skill of security servants who are: civil servants, endowed (we hope) with courage and unequivocal sense of responsibility, and, paid for their services to best prevent tragedy. Anytime someone like this dies in the line of duty, it is a great shame.
To most of us, I think, this will seem like a very long week. If tragedy should occur, I want every American to remember that especially now, violence would not serve to accomplish anything of good value to us all, or for any of us individually.
I do not have any information about any potential incidents (expected or unexpected). But, these days, we have witnessed all sorts of expected and unexpected problems alike.
So, if anyone is plotting any sort of violence… don’t even think about doing it. It certainly would not work well in your favor if you were to carry out such act(s). The President has wished for “a peaceful transition”. And, we should agree with that wish ardently. Now we have some days ahead of us… “hang in there” and be strong.
