Health spies. How to respond.
What should you do when an uninvited “contact tracer” (health spy) comes to your home?
First and foremost, make sure that you take as much time as is needed, to first collect that person’s name and identification number as they announce they would like to visit you.
Contact your county health department and ask them to verify that the person has been in fact sent out by your county.
If you need more time to respond to such surprise visit, ask the “tracer” to come back after you’ve had sufficient time to have heard back by email, text of phone, from your county.
