I do not support/agree with, the US President’s arms deal (sale of weapons) made this week with Saudi Arabia. We should have no part in arming Islamic Kingdoms/Republics who have not only recently bombed Yemen (a much poorer country), but, who have also allegedly financed terrorists that our own American soldiers are ordered to fight against. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia has a believed responsibility for the Osama Bin Laden caused devastation, in USA 2001. Culpability and compensation should be established in US courts, for the deaths that occurred then. Unfortunately my advice on this, seems to have been disregarded.

Update to this post 4/25/18: Dear readers. Sadly, weapons are sold. And sadly, so done without the US public understanding who is being armed by us; with deals brokered at seemingly lightning speed. A lot has changed since our country has agreed to arm Saudi Arabia. I dare say, that doing this has been for the right reasons. Seemingly that is the case. Saudi Arabia confirms role in strikes against Islamic State in Syria | Reuters , explains that Saudi Arabia is indeed helping the USA oppose ISIS strongholds. Evidently this aid, began already in 2015 with ex US president Barack Obama to thank in part as well. I was not aware until today 4/25/2018. So many of these details, do not make the nightly domestic news.

In all cases, it seems that ISIS truly does remain the bully on the block. And, a lot is being and has been done about it, with important alliances that perhaps are not all as sinister as they appear to be. That seems like a very fortunate realization.
