claims of “hack”
I realize that election 2016 did not provide enough scandal for some in the world, as it was, without accusation of irregularity where this year we had a very smooth one. Is that even possible? Ask, as I am, and someone out there will of course answer “no… it wasn’t scandalous enough.” But, people should not believe the claims being made about Russian hack attack. So called, “evidence” of such a thing, could be manufactured for political gain as motive to create just enough doubt among us, to substantiate future unfriendliness toward Russia. It’s so convenient. And, so it’s not a claim that we should take seriously – particularly from segments of the secret service. Election fraud when it occurs, is probably much much more blatant and evident when it occurs, than claiming some sort of hack would illicit or trail to.
Election officials have said that this election “was a very secure one”, and I believe it was; because many, many people were watching to ensure that it would be. Of course, the irregularity we should be concerned about, is the illegal voting placed by people who should not be legally registered. In future elections, what we need to watch out for most, is fraud in the shape of ineligible resident persons voting, lax or missing controls at the polls, and those sort of simple and basic legal precautions. There really are too many ineligible voters in our country who do vote and have voted, to legitimately be able to claim that “hacking” won us the election; in spite, of illegal voting from a voting block that largely has trended and continues to trend left. They pretty certainly account for contributing to the net popular vote of about 1.3 to 1.4 million votes nationally – at least. So if we were to invalidate those votes, if we could, we won by even more.
